Showdown, rebuilt.

Same server. Same ladder. Same players. A client from this decade.

In this prototype, “Find a battle” starts a playable demo match vs the computer in the new battle UI. On the real server this button sends /search over the same socket the Live tab uses.

What’s different?

  • Calc built in. Every move button shows a damage range vs the active opponent — no Showdex tab-juggling.
  • Readable log. Turn-by-turn, grouped, with damage % — not a wall of pipe characters.
  • Teambuilder that feels like software. EV sliders, usage-style move picks, one-click import/export.
  • Mobile-first. Big tap targets, one-column battle view.
  • Nothing to migrate. Your account, rating and teams live on their server — this is just a front door.

Live spectate REAL — official server

This tab opens a real WebSocket (SockJS transport) to sim3.psim.us, joins the lobby as a guest, lists live battles and renders any battle you pick with the new UI’s log parser. Spectating needs no account. Playing on the ladder needs the challstr login flow — that’s the next build step, not faked here.
